Thanks so much for stopping by my Photograph of the Day (aka 366 challenge) site! A few photographer friends of mine set forth a challenge at the start of the year. The concept is to photograph and post an image a day for the year 2008; that makes 366 photos this year, thanks to leap year. I have found the commitment incredibly challenging but I am thoroughly enjoying tapping into my creative being to come up with unique and fun photographs each day. Beyond being creatively beneficial the project has also enhanced my technical photographic skills. I am one with my camera, LOL!
While I don't promise superior photographs everyday, I do offer a slice of my life, love, and passion, each and everyday. Be sure to bookmark my site and don't forget to check back daily for a new photo. If you have a moment, I love to read your comments.

I never got the last forty photos downloaded onto this site for 2008 and since the photos seem to vanish after a few months I see no point on working on the rest of 2008 photos of the day. I am taking a break for 2009; maybe 2010.

Madison was the one person from her class chosen for the Principle’s Party for her writing. The story “Little Miss Princess” won her a spot at the party, a pencil, a signed certificate, and a pin stating “principle’s award”. She was very excited!!
Brady brought this home from school for me. He had made it in art class. The background in the image is from the handmade paper he had used to wrap my beautiful blue pottery piece.
My Great Aunt and Uncle along with my second cousin removed (I think that is how you say that…my Grandmother’s brother and sister in law with their son) were in town today, so we met them for dinner at their hotel. We had a wonderful time chatting. It had been a little over 9 years since I had last seen them, back when I was pregnant with Madison.
We went to Chuck E. Cheese tonight. The kids had a blast! Yucky quality…I really hate the quality of image my iphone camera takes but I forgot to bring my other cameras so this will have to do.
Report cards actually came out on Friday but the kids really wanted me to make one of the photo of the day images of their reports. Madison-straight A’s; Brady-A,B’s; Paige-E’s.
Today I had the opportunity to photograph one of my good friends from our time in Sasebo, Japan. She is an absolutely gorgeous soon to be mom. The camera LOVES her! I couldn’t pick just one for my photo of the day so I made this storyboard of my favorite images. Thanks so much Tisha and sorry about the mess Oakley made.
The locked door has been are battle this evening. Earlier today I locked the door so that Oakley wouldn’t go into the kids’ room while I was taking a shower because she was threatening to play with the dvd player. I just assumed that there would be keys for the doors above the door frame but there isn’t of course. So after many tries, and several whiny cries (things were in the room that the kiddos wanted) the door is still locked. Guess I will have to hit the hardware store tomorrow for some door keys.
